Update: I have been living in New York City with Katie Conner, Elizabeth Smith and Cate West (who's engaged to DZ!) and having a blast. I'm getting married in June to Aaron Blades (he did one camp a few summers ago). I won't be able to do FOCUS this summer, but I MISS IT and will be back in 2008! I hope everyone's doing well!

Update: I graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A. in psychology and foreign languages. I have since then moved back to the greater Washington area. I am looking for part time work this summer before I spend the month of August in Block Island, Rhode Island. This fall I plan to work as a psychology research assistant.

Update: I'm currently living in NYC and working for Lehman Brothers as an equity sales trader. I've been fortunate to be plugged in with a number of other FOCUS alums in the city, and have been able to volunteer for NYC FOCUS a bit as well.
Chrissy LaBash

Update: I graduated from Michigan's Art and Design School in 2005 with concentrations in Metalsmithing and Photography, and a Minor in English. After deciding to go back to school for my teaching certificate and Master's, I took a year of pre-reqs, and have just finished my year of student teaching Art at a high school (jewelry, ceramics, and photography) and Art to 1st through 5th graders. I have one more class to take before I am an actual certified teacher in Art K-12 and English 6-12 education, so until then, I am applying for teaching jobs for the fall wherever they are available (which, in Michigan, is far and few between!). Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a FOCUS camp this summer before life in the real world actually begins!! (if i find a job!)

Update: I live with Margaret Bussmann, who I met through FOCUS. We live in the apartment directly below Katie Connor and Elizabeth Smith, who I also know through FOCUS. In the fall, I am getting married to Dave Zahl, who I met through FOCUS and who currently works for FOCUS. What have I been up to? Pretty much just hanging out with FOCUS people.
