A Spirit of Community
As an organization, we don't believe that the FOCUS community should end at high school. While FOCUS is first and foremost for students, the branches of our community stretch much further. We are also faculty, staff, donors, clergy, friends, parents and, of course, alumni. This spring we are launching a new initiative to communicate more consistently with our alumni and to provide opportunities to reconnect with one another.
Our alumni events this April in Washington and New York were a great success. We'd like to thank those who helped make them possible by giving their time and their energy to be there. For photos of those events, please see our photo gallery.
To communicate with you more consistently (via e-newsletter and by mail) and to send you an invitation to these events, we will need your updated contact information. Please click here to update your information.
A Spirit of Giving
As part of anoverall campaign to encourage involvement on every level- from volunteering, to prayer, to giving of time and financial support- a group of generous donors have pledged $25,000 to match contributions from alumni this spring. It is our hope that alumni will be moved to give the other $25,000 for a total of $50,000 as part of our annual operating fund.
If you are interested in giving to the Alumni Match Campaign, please see our donations page and select "Aumni Campaign." In the "National Funds" tab. In addition to your financial pledge, we invite you to be a volunteer on Martha’s Vineyard or in your local area. There are many ways to give beyond financial support, and it is our hope that you will take the time to reinvest in the FOCUS community, and that you might be served in the process.
